The Tome of Divinity

The Tome of Divinity is a divine text of great importance to the Clerics of Northshire Abbey, as well as the Paladins of the abbey today. During the First War the tome was stolen from the Abbey by the Ogre, Turok and hidden within his lair in the Deadmines of Westfall. Anduin Lothar then Armsman of the Brotherhood of the Horse, led an expedition into Deadmines in order to recapture the tome, but was defeated and captured in the process.

Thankfully, a vision of Anduin Lothar from one of the Clerics of Northshire Abbey showed that the Armsman was still alive and a rescue forth was sent to retrieve the captured knight. The rescue was ultimately successful, with both Lothat and the Tome successfully retreived.

Today copies of the Tome of Divinity are widespreed and used in the training of young and aspiring paladins.

Words of the Tome[]

In all things, paladins must reflect the Light, which supplements our strength. To strive to be divine for one of our kind does not mean we strive for godhood--we strive to be good in all actions.

Although called upon to smite evil in these harsh times, you must always remember that it's aiding others that will truly set you apart from the other citizens. Compassion, patience, bravery--these things mean as much to a paladin as strength in battle.

Know this well, and never forget it.
