As the number of champions yielded by the Argent Tournament grew, the Argent Crusade spearheaded a relentless campaign to breach Icecrown Citadel's defenses. After several days of advancing upon the Lich King's forces, the champions of the Argent Crusade were upon the very gates of the Citadel.
Breaching the gates, heroes of the Alliance, Horde and Argent Crusade stormed the lower halls, slaying a number of the Lich King's most trusted Lieutenants.
